With a dedicated focus on the Pilates Reformer, your instructor will guide you through a specialised Pilates session.
By limiting the number of participants, you’ll receive personalised care and instruction which will ensure you learn to move correctly and control your body.
As you gain confidence, you’ll learn to move through more challenging progressions that can be adjusted to suit all abilities.
Through increased flexibility and strength, you can expect to gain a wider range of motion in your body that can translate into an amazing new quality of life outside of the studio.

Practised from the floor in our open studio, Mat Class emphasises the principles of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each participant’s individual needs.
Mat Class exercises are performed on a mat on the floor, using your own body weight as the main source of resistance. Mat classes cater for all ages and ability levels.
In some classes, we also use small apparatus such as Foam Rollers, Magic Circles and Therabands.
With regular attendance, you will tone and strengthen your body and increase your flexibility while learning more about the connection between body and mind.

This gentle form of exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.
Tai chi is often described as “meditation in motion,” but it might well be called “medication in motion.” There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice, which originated in China as a martial art, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. And you can get started even if you aren’t in top shape or the best of health.
As you move, you breathe deeply and naturally, focusing your attention — as in some kinds of meditation — on your bodily sensations. Tai chi differs from other types of exercise in several respects. The movements are usually circular and never forced, the muscles are relaxed rather than tensed, the joints are not fully extended or bent, and connective tissues are not stretched. Tai chi can be easily adapted for anyone, from the most fit to people confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery.
A growing body of carefully conducted research is building a compelling case for tai chi as an adjunct to standard medical treatment for the prevention and rehabilitation of many conditions commonly associated with age. An adjunct therapy is one that’s used together with primary medical treatments, either to address a disease itself or its primary symptoms, or, more generally, to improve a patient’s functioning and quality of life.

“Mindfulness is a mental state of awareness, focus and openness – which allows you to engage fully in what you are doing at any moment. In a state of mindfulness, difficult thoughts and feelings have much less impact and influence over you.”
